Gilbert pools open for summer season

Gilbert’s public pools will open May 25 through July 20. Entry is $1 for children and $3 for adults. Punch cards are available.

Gilbert's pools include:

• Greenfield Pool — 35 S. Greenfield Road;
• Mesquite Aquatic Center — 100 W. Mesquite St.;
• Perry Pool — 1775 E. Queen Creek Road (closes July 13);
• Williams Field Pool — 1900 S. Higley Road.

Splash Pass

A Splash Pass will allow the pass holder unlimited visits any Gilbert public pool listed above and Freestone Recreation Center from May 20-July 20. Residents can purchase their Splash Pass at the center, 1411 E. Guadalupe Road, Gilbert.

The cost is:

• Youth: $44;
• Adult: $67;
• Senior: $55;
• Household (2 adults & 2 children): $161.

H2O Fest

Gilbert’s H2O Fest will feature a pop-up water park at Freestone Park on Thursday, June 6. The event will have water slides, food trucks, music and a giant slip and slide. Three sessions will take place throughout the day. Tickets required.

• 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.;
• 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.;
• 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
