With soaring inflation, increased housing costs, and rising gasoline prices, families’ food budgets are strained.  In order to help children who may experience food insecurity during the summer months while school is out of session, Gilbert Public Schools participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

Four school locations within Gilbert Public Schools boundaries have been qualified to provide meals. Children may participate no matter where they live and they do not need to register.
