Gilbert is hosting  H20 Fest, a family-friendly water festival June 6 at Freestone Park featuring water obstacles, food trucks, music and more.

Three sessions will be held to ensure optimal slide time for each participant. Participants are encouraged to wear swim shoes, bathing suits or clothing that can get wet.

Tickets are required for everyone who will be playing on the obstacles. Those planning to do so are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to pick up wristband(s).

    The three sessions are 3-4:30 p.m., 5-6:30 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now and cost $10 per person, plus fee and tax.

Event registration is open to participants ages 4 and older. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted.

If a child is between the age of 4 and 8 then a ticketed adult (18-plus) must accompany them on the slides.

Children ages 9-12 must have an adult (18-plus) present for the duration of the event.

Once tickets are purchased, they cannot be transferred to another time or person. Tickets will not be available for purchase on-site.

Tickets are non-refundable and single use and only valid for their designated time. Attendees are asked to please make sure they are selecting tickets for the correct time before purchase.

There will be no on-site storage for personal belongings, so those attending should plan accordingly.

No pets or alcohol are permitted.

This event is held in the Freestone parking lot and lawn. The parking lot is fully accessible by strollers, wheelchairs and walkers.

Parking is available at 900 E. Juniper Ave. in the Gilbert Public Works Department lot. The event entrance is located in the Freestone parking lot directly across the street from the public works event parking.
