Gilbert Independent, Chamber host candidate meet-and-greet

The Gilbert Independent and Gilbert Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a community meet-and-greet and candidate forum June 13 for the coming local elections.

The forum will be held from 3-6 p.m. June 13 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix/Gilbert 1800 S. San Tan Village Parkway, Gilbert. Chamber President and CEO Sarah Watts and Gilbert Independent Editor Tom Blodgett will host.

This will re be a chance to directly interact with candidates, providing for dialogue and informed voting decisions.

Event highlights

• Meet the Candidates: Get to know the individuals running for office in a casual, friendly setting. Each candidate will be available for one-on-one conversations, allowing you to ask questions and discuss issues that matter most to you.

• Candidate Introductions: Hear directly from the candidates as they introduce themselves and outline their backgrounds, key issues, and visions for our community. Each candidate will have a dedicated time slot to present their platform and goals.

• Town Council Candidate Forum: Candidates will participate in a structured Q&A session. This forum provides a unique opportunity to compare candidates' positions on critical topics and gain insights into their plans and policies.
