Royals’ girls’ soccer top Greyhounds in season opener
Despite the rain, Duluth East Greyhound girls’ soccer battled the Woodbury Royals in their season opener. Starting things off in the second half, down 2-0, the Greyhounds are able to protect their goal from the Royals. Then again at the net the Greyhounds just keep blocking the ball despite the shower of shots coming their way. Next the Greyhounds have made it down the field, and nearly make the goal, but the Royals kept them away. Then the Royals come around back into Greyhound territory, Royal’s Clara Fedunok took the open shot and brought the Royals to a 3-0 lead.
