On Saturday July 13, 2024, the new muskie statue dedication was held at, of course, the location where two successive fish had reigned for six decades. Ogilvie, MN (July 20) – Saturday night was Blaze Credit Union night at Wagamon’s Ogilvie, and once again, Mother Nature was knocking on the door as the race night progressed. With 86 cars in attendance, the track staff pushed the show through and completed the evening of WISSOTA Dirt Track Race Action before the rain began to fall. The track itself was victorious along with Clayton Wagamon, Austin Niemeyer, Ashely Boyum, Tyler Larson, Jeff Ekdahl and Tony Jensen who all went home with hardware.

SUPERIOR Wi. — Veterans are taking a nature trip to celebrate serving our country. A handful of veterans are heading out on a weeklong getaway to the Boundary Waters in Ely. The participants will do activities such as fishing, canoeing, and playing cards. This free annual trip has been going on for eight years now, and each time, the participants take something away from it. Grant Funded Shopping Spree for Boys and Girls Club of the Northland
DULUTH, Minn.– School will be in full swing soon enough. And one local organization received a grant for that special time of year. The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland paired up with Kohl’s to help them with school supplies this fall. Since 2019, Kohl’s has partnered up with the organization, supporting the youth across the nation. The Duluth Boys and Girls Club was selected and received a $2,000 grant. The retail store had an event Monday where organizers shopped for the things they need. The work they are doing is noticed by the kids.
