90 year old shoots his age on the golf course.
MADAWASKA, Maine (WAGM) - Golf is a lifetime sport with people playing the game into their 90′s and older. Some County and Western New Brunswick Clubs are no exception, as they have several members who are over the age of 90. Most of the older golfers enjoy a game with their friends at their local course, but a Madawaska golfer is one of the oldest active members of the Upper St John Valley Seniors Association. Mike Pelletier who turns 91 this week is still very competitive and shoots his age consistently.
Oxford County deputies searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ man
OXFORD COUNTY, Maine (WMTW/WABI) - The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say should be considered armed and dangerous. Jacob McGurn, 28, of Gilead is wanted for at least five charges, according to investigators. That includes reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, and driving to endanger.
