Republican National Committee may take legal action against ballot drop box ruling
MILWAUKEE — Legal teams for the Republican National Committee are preparing to file more election-related lawsuits ahead of November in key swing states like Wisconsin. A group Wednesday in Milwaukee praised last week's decision by the liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, allowing for the use of ballot drop boxes ahead of November, which a previous court said was illegal.
Sale of electrical utility is not a done deal

In the interim, the course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and owned by Sentry Insurance played host to the 2023 U.S. Senior Open and, last week, a first-of-its-kind match between members of the new U.S. National Junior Team and the Australian High Performance program.

Event held to help plan Rib Lake’s future
Rib Lake’s future is on the discussion table. On June 3, 40 residents of Rib Lake met with members of the Rib Lake Community Development Foundation and Jenny Polacek, architect from the project’s contracted firm Wendel, to talk about reinvigorating Rib Lake. Main Street and the waterfront are the focus areas of the Rib Lake Community Development Foundation’s Vision Plan.

Multiple rallies failed to reach their potential and it cost Medford’s Post 147 Senior Legion baseball team Tuesday in a pair of walk-off losses at Stratford. Stratford took the first five-inning contest 2-1 on Jack Tubbs’ RBI single, which capped a rally that started with two outs and no one on. Vance Kielman’s runscoring hit ended a 3-2 win for the home team in game two.
