Not only is beef liver a nutritional powerhouse, but it is also an affordable and easily accessible meat option that is known for its health-promoting properties.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 pound of beef liver steaks
    • 1 1/2 cups of flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning salt
    • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 to 2 teaspoons of onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon of soul-seasoning canola oil for frying
    • 1 cup of milk for soaking the steaks

    Instructions:

    To prepare the beef liver steaks, start by pouring 1 cup of milk into a bowl. Submerge the liver steaks in the milk, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow the liver to marinate in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes, remembering to flip the meat halfway through to ensure even marination.

    Heat enough canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to fry the beef liver steaks. Ensure the oil is hot and bubbling before adding the steaks.

    In a Ziploc bag, combine 1 1/2 cups of flour and all the spices. Seal the bag and shake well to mix the ingredients.

    Place the beef liver steaks in the Ziploc bag, seal it, and shake to coat each piece of meat with the flour mixture.

    Carefully place the coated beef liver steaks in the hot oil, shaking off any excess flour. Cook the liver for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.

    Serve the breaded beef liver steaks with sautéed onions and peppers for a delicious and nutritious meal. Enjoy!
