    Loaded Skillet Breakfast Toast

Enjoy a delicious and satisfying breakfast with my loaded breakfast toast. This mouthwatering dish is not only delicious but also incredibly filling.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 slices of thick French bread (Texas toast works well too)
    • 4 eggs
    • 4 strips of crispy bacon, chopped
    • 1/4 cup of shredded white American cheese
    • A pinch of seasoning salt
    • A dash of freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 to 4 tablespoons of butter

    Instructions:

Cook the bacon over medium-high heat for 6 minutes per side until crispy. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

In a bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Season with seasoning salt, and black pepper.

Drain the excess bacon grease from the skillet. Cook the whisked eggs in the same skillet over medium-low heat, using some of the bacon grease. Stir continuously until eggs are cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Chop the bacon into bite-sized pieces and add them to the cooked eggs. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.

Wipe out the skillet and melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat. Toast the bread slices on one side, then flip and add more butter if needed. Reduce the heat to low.

Spoon the egg and bacon mixture onto the toasted bread. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, and cover with a lid or foil. Turn off the heat and let the steam melt the cheese.

Use a spatula to carefully transfer the loaded toast to a plate.

Serve and enjoy every bite of this delicious breakfast treat.
