    Homemade Crescent Rolls

Who doesn't love freshly baked crescent rolls? Today I want to share with you my crescent roll recipe. Here's a list of ingredients you'll need and step-by-step instructions on how to make them.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup of granulated Splenda or sugar
    • 1 package active dry yeast
    • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1/4 cup butter, softened
    • 1 egg

    Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of flour, granulated Splenda, or sugar, yeast, and kosher salt.

In a saucepan, heat the milk, water, and butter until it's lukewarm.

Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.

Add the egg and 1/2 cup of flour. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.

Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough in half. Roll each half into a 12-inch circle and cut into wedges.

Roll up each wedge from the wide end and place on a greased baking sheet.

Brush the rolls with melted butter.

Let the rolls rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then bake in a 375-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

    Serve and enjoy!
