    Country Blackberry Pie

    Enjoy a slice of this delicious blackberry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Yum!

    Ingredients:

    • 4 cups fresh blackberries
    • 1 cup of granulated Splenda, or sugar
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • You'll need 2 sheets of prepared pie dough.

    Instructions:

    In a large bowl, mix together the blackberries, granulated Splenda, or sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice until well combined.

    Line a pie dish with one of the pie crusts. Pour the blackberry filling into the crust and dot with butter.

    Now, cut strips from the second pie crust. Cover the pie by braiding the strips and crimping the edges to seal.

    Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

    Allow the pie to cool before serving. Enjoy!
