    Welcome, foodie friends! Today, I am thrilled to share with you a mouthwatering recipe for my country-style meatloaf. This yummy meatloaf can be enjoyed with creamy mashed potatoes and rich gravy, or served on buns for a delightful twist. It is not only incredibly delicious but also slices beautifully, making it a perfect choice for any meal.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 pounds of ground beef
    • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup of ketchup plus extra for slathering on top of the meatloaf.
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 small orange bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

    Instructions:

    To begin, in a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, ketchup, diced onion, chopped peppers, egg, smoked paprika, seasoning salt, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly using your hands to ensure it is well combined.

    Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and carefully transfer it to a baking dish. For easy cleanup, consider lining the pan with aluminum foil before placing the meatloaf in it.

    Next, place the meatloaf in a 375-degree oven and bake it for about 30 minutes. Afterward, generously spread extra ketchup on top of the meatloaf and cover the pan with foil. Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

    Once the meatloaf is cooked through, allow it to cool for about 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
