Lansford woman arrested for attempted homicide of her infant
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton County District Attorney's office has announced the arrest of a woman charged with the attempted homicide of her infant. Abigail Horn, of Lansford, Carbon County, was reported to Bethlehem Police by family members in May, as they were concerned Horn was causing significant harm to her infant, the DA's office said.
Woman Charged in Fatal Overdose
The Daily Item reports a Schuylkill County woman will go to trial for allegedly providing drugs that claimed the life of a 15-year-old Mount Carmel resident. Victoria Mowry of Ashland has a trial set for October, charged with felony counts of drug delivery. Mount Carmel police say Mowry is responsible for fentanyl that was used in the overdose death of Ricky Payne. Christopher Payne was also charged for Ricky Payne’s death.
