Guitars, electronics stolen from School of Rock in Philadelphia; suspects sought
Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect or suspects involved in a burglary in Spring Garden.It happened at the School of Rock on the 400 block of North 7th Street on June 26 and June 27, investigators say.According to police, numerous guitars and electronics were stolen.Surveillance video captured images of a possible suspect on each night of the burglaries. 3-year-old injured after being bitten by dog while leaving corner store in Philadelphia
A 3-year-old was injured after a dog repeatedly bit him in West Philadelphia on Tuesday.It happened just before 6 p.m. on the unit block of North 57th Street.Officers responded to the scene after multiple 911 calls reported that a child was being attacked by a dog.Upon arrival, police say they found a 3-year-old boy on the sidewalk with several dog bites along his arm.The child and his mother were then transported to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where the boy is in stable condition.According to police, the child was with his mother at a corner store near where they live.The boy reportedly walked out of the store first, and when he did, the dog jumped off a neighboring porch and attacked.Witnesses say the dog was not leashed or behind a fence.Officers described the dog as a mid-size Rottweiler. Investigators also say the attack seemingly happened for no reason.Authorities were able to contain the dog at the scene.Police later returned the dog to its owner, where the animal will need to be quarantined indoors for 10 days while the investigation takes place.

The group–featuring The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein and son Zach, plus Eggy’s Jake Brownstein and Dani Battat–brought its virtuosic hybrid sound to four Northeast venues in four days, giving engagements at The Homestead in Morristown, N.J., Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pa., Lark Hall in Albany, N.Y. and Park City Music Hall in Black Rock, Conn. from June 26-29. Warrington Police Stop a Man Allegedly Trying to Break into the Front Door of a House
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—Warrington police intervened when a 33-year-old Ambler man was allegedly trying to break in the front door of a house in broad daylight. Police said that on June 27, Steven Joseph Delpopolo was on Tabatha Drive when he tried to break into the front door and front windows of a house. Willie Nelson Announces Last-Minute Concert Cancellation
Willie Nelson has pulled out of his scheduled Tuesday performance on the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, the latest in a string of cancellations. The country icon was set to appear at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
