    PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — Annabelle Fortin scored 20 points and hit a key three-point shot late in the game to lead Illini Bluffs past Abingdon-Avon, 44-37, in the title game of the class 1A Bushnell Sectional championship game.

    The Tigers advance to play Galena at Monday’s super-sectional at Brimfield High School for the right to advance to state.

    In class 2A, Mya Wardle scored 26 points to lead top-ranked Notre Dame to a 59-37 win over No. 8 Deer Creek-Mackinaw in the title game of the Canton Sectional. The Irish will play Rock Island Alleman in Monday’s super-sectional game at Manlius with a state bid on the line.

    Both Morton and Normal community fell short in their attempts to win sectional titles.

    Lincoln beat Morton, 61-31, in the class 3A East Peoria sectional championship. While Alton beat Normal Community, 66-56, in the title game as the class 4A sectional championship at Normal West.
