Every Tuesday in Historic Downtown Lynchburg, Lindy Hop Lynchburg meets in RiverView Vinyl to practice the long-upheld American tradition of social dancing. True to their namesake, Lindy Hop Lynchburg meets weekly to practice Lindy Hop, a type of east-coast partner swing dancing. This form of dancing was prevalent in the United States amongst youth towards the end of World War II, and continued to grow in popularity and evolve into the late 1960s. Lindy Hop Lynchburg intends to keep this tradition alive by educating and participating in social dances.
