Raising Cane’s is preparing to be two stores closer to absolute poultry domination. The unbelievably popular fast-casual chicken juggernaut is readying a duo of South Jersey sites for construction on new restaurants, reports local media site 42 Freeway .

Construction fences have been erected outside of properties in Washington Township and Glassboro. First up on Raising Cane’s roster is the space at the intersection of Black Horse Pike and Ganttown Road. The chain will need to demolish a Pep Boys before construction can begin on the eatery, which will occupy both the defunct auto parts store’s lot and space in front of it closer to the highway. This Turnersville location will have three drive-thru lanes and is aiming for a first quarter of 2025 opening.

Glassboro is next up on Raising Cane’s roster. The restaurant will be going into a space at the intersection of Delsea Drive and Donald Barger Boulevard. This site also requires demolition; this time it’s a Rite Aid that will fall under the wrecking ball. Raising Cane’s hopes to begin serving its signature made-to-order chicken tenders and sandwiches at this location in April of next year.
