Saturday's Events at the Central Wisconsin State Fair
The Central Wisconsin State Fair is underway at the fairgrounds in Marshfield. They have a BOGO special for admission today from 11am-2pm. Buy one adult pass and get the second adult or child pass for free. The carnival opens today at Noon. Individual ride tickets can be purchased. Wristbands will be available for $35 from Noon-5pm.

Habitat for Humanity home No. 72 now complete
WAUSAU – Habitat for Humanity of Wausau celebrated this week the completion of its 72nd home at 1407 N. Second St., Wausau. Construction on the home began in September 2023 in a collaborative partnership between D.C. Everest Senior High School construction trades class, led by Chad Pernsteiner, and HFH Wausau. Habitat Wausau provides the plans, building materials, dwelling contractor license and oversite of the build process. The school’s instructor creates the curriculum, provides the instruction, and oversees the student build.
