Car Crashes on Hyatt Hills Golf Course in Clark
Clark, NJ — A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Hyatt Hills Golf Course, located at 1300 Raritan Rd, Sunday evening. The Clark Police Department informed TAPinto Clark that a woman driving a 2021 Volvo XC40 began experiencing mechanical problems while traveling eastbound on Raritan Rd.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The driver, unable to stop the car, veered into the westbound lanes of Raritan Rd., crossing the double-yellow solid lines. Two Tractor-Trailers Crash and Catch Fire in on NJ Turnpike in Monroe Township
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ (MIDDLESEX)–New Jersey State Police, Sgt. Charles Marchan, told MidJersey.news that Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 12:47 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike North, milepost 73, Monroe, Middlesex County, Saturday July 20, 2024. Based on a preliminary investigation, two tractor-trailers were traveling north when they were involved in a collision. After the collision, one of the tractors began to catch on fire. No injuries were reported on scene. The crash remains under investigation, and there is no additional information available.

UNION, NJ - Family and friends gathered together on Saturday to celebrate the 100th birthday of longtime Union resident Mary Izzo. Izzo was born on July 17, 1924. She moved from Newark to Union in 1965. She raised five children and became a consummate volunteer, including as the town's Girl Scout troop organizer, as the leader of Troop 588 for twenty years, and as a Washington Rock Girl Scout delegate. BETHEL TWP. | The Riverton-Belvidere bridge’s pedestrian walkway is scheduled to shut down Monday so needed repairs can be made to bulging masonry wing walls on the structure’s Pennsylvania side, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said. “Once started, the walkway closure is estimated to remain in place without interruption for up to 35 days,” the DRJTBC said in a news release. “Weather permitting, that means pedestrian access could be restored by Aug. 25.” The two-lane bridge connecting Northampton and Warren counties across the Delaware River is expected to remain open to motor-vehicle traffic while the repairs are made.
