Man killed in July 16 motorcycle crash in Pleasant Springs
A man is dead following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Pleasant Springs on the evening of Tuesday, July 16. According to a Dane County Sheriff’s Office news release, at 6:58 p.m., a citizen walking in the area of Tower Drive near Erdahl Drive in the Town of Pleasant Springs found an unresponsive male lying in the ditch. In a nearby field was a 2000 Harley Davidson Trike.

MADISON, WI - Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC), a mission-driven acquirer and developer of affordable housing, celebrated their groundbreaking yesterday on the future site of The View and The Victoria at Huxley Yards, during a ceremony with LAC leaders, local policymakers and partners. As expected, scattered storms dropped into northern Wisconsin from Upper Michigan earlier Saturday afternoon. No severe weather is expected but there could be some locally heavy rainfall and small hail. Storms should begin to fade after sunset. Lows tonight could be as cool as the mid 50s in the Northwoods, but low/mid 60s are expected farther south. Sunday begins dry, but more spotty afternoon storms could develop. The best chance of a storm on Sunday looks to be west and southwest of Green Bay during the afternoon & evening. Highs should be near 80 degrees.

The Madison CommonCouncil approved four new housing developments at a July 2 meeting, one of which will be the city’s first permanent men's shelter at 1904 Bartillon Drive.
