It is going to feel like a bit of a long week as we will be looking at the chance of showers and storms throughout the week. However, we do need more rain here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and throughout West Virginia as drought conditions persist.

The more breaks in the clouds we get, the more thunderstorms we could see across the area. While we are not expecting many to be severe today, some could put out some gusty winds and heavy downpours. Our southwestern counties have the highest potential at seeing some of the stronger and rainiest storms today.
