DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Elon University volleyball team fell 3-0 to Davidson in the first match of the Wildcat Classic on Friday night. Elon 0, Davidson 3 (24-26, 17-25, 19-25) It was a back-and-forth battle to start the match until back-to-back kills from Sydney Love and a Wildcat error put the Phoenix up 10-7. Davidson responded with an 8-4 run to gain a 15-14 lead before Elon quickly regained their lead putting together a 6-0 run of their own.
