CLIFTON, NJ - The Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) is encouraging customers to take part in its free, federally mandated Lead Service Line Replacement program, funded by the bipartisan infrastructure law. Executive Director Jim Mueller emphasized that participation in this health and safety initiative is open to all residents, not just landlords. Arrest Made in Shooting Death of Bayonne Teen
BAYONNE, NJ - A Jersey City teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a Bayonne teen. According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Bayonne Police Department and the Bayonne Fire Department were notified of an unresponsive male inside an apartment at 124 West Third Street. The suspect, also 17, was arrested and charged as a juvenile with Manslaughter, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
