GLEN ROCK — Construction along NJ Transit's Bergen County Line railroad crossing will close some local roads in early August.

Rock Road between Maple Avenue and Glen Avenue will be closed to traffic from Aug. 1 to Aug. 8, the police department said.

Weather permitting, two police officers will be assigned to the construction detail for the first two days to assist with traffic control for the start of the project.

The Bergen County Line is a commuter rail owned by New Jersey Transit and loops off the Main Line between the Meadowlands and Glen Rock.
