New principal at Berea Elementary
MONTGOMERY – Berea Elementary School in the Valley Central School District has a new principal. Kara Raap comes to the district with 24 years in education. Most recently, she was assistant principal of Presidential Park Elementary School in the Middletown Enlarged City School District. Prior to that, she was a classroom teacher for 19 years in the Port Jervis City School District, where she taught fifth grade and Math Academic Intervention Services.
