    Prince George's County Police Department: Suspect Wanted for Homicide in Glenarden in Custody

    The suspect wanted for a fatal shooting in the city of Glenarden in March is in custody. The suspect is 31-year-old Omar Parker of the 3800 block of 30th Street in Mount Rainier. He's charged in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Anthony Lamont Frost of Washington, DC.

    On March 29, 2021, at approximately 9:10 pm, officers from the Glenarden Police Department along with Prince George’s County Police officers responded to the 7900 block of Glenarden Parkway for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they located the victim outside of a home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

    The preliminary investigation revealed Parker shot Frost during a dispute. They are known to each other. Parker is charged with first and second degree murder and additional charges. He was taken into custody in Richmond, VA, where he remains awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.

    The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides that occur in the city of Glenarden.
