Fazoli’s , a national fast-food chain focusing on baked pastas, subs, pizza & other casual Italian fare, is working on a new location in Glendale at 5825 W Peoria Ave.

The company’s new site will move into the former home of Boston Market, according to signage on the building. This will be the fast-casual chain’s second stand-alone location, expected to open in Summer 2024 under Kind Hospitality , who struck a deal with the company to open nine sites in the Valley. The group brought the brand back to Phoenix last year and is the primary operator of all Phoenix locations, including the Sky Harbor Airport site. Kind Hospitality still plans to open a handful of other locations.

Kind Hospitality has a wide portfolio of brands throughout Arizona, Texas, Charlotte, and more. On top of the two Fazoli’s in Arizona, the group also owns and operates a handful of Panera Bread locations in various airports, plus Native Grill & Wings, O.H.S.O. Brewery, Barrio Brewing Co., Infusion Coffee & Tea, Queen Creek Olive Mill, Virtu Honest Craft, and Pizzeria Virtu. The group previously owned Macayo’s Mexican Food but recently sold the company to Horizon Hospitality . Kind Hospitality continues to operate the one location at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

“Dedicated to the best possible guest service across its suite of brands, Kind Hospitality’s knack for hiring high-quality, hardworking, passionate individuals serves as a key element to their “secret recipe” for success,” according to the company’s website. “The “Kind” approach touches everything the organization does — from hiring and caring for their team to forming strategic relationships with vendors, colleagues, and investment partners. At the core of Kind Hospitality’s mission is respect, intentional desire to serve with gratitude and paying it forward — and these values all come from the heart.”
