Valley residents are invited to join ProShred Security of Arizona  and the city of Glendale for a free drive-thru shred event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 15 at GESD System of Care Center, 7677 W. Bethany Home Road in Glendale.

The event is sponsored by Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers, Yucca District council member Joyce Clark, and the Glendale Police Department.

Valley residents (who are required to remain in their car for safety and faster service) are invited to drive through with up to five boxes of paper to shred. Paper products that will be accepted for shredding include bills, junk mail, prescription labels, receipts, credit card statements, bank statements, post cards, flyers and other paper items that contain the resident's address.

“What most people don’t realize is everything that is sent to your home with an address affixed to it also contains a bar code and that bar code has all kinds of data regarding who you are,” stated Patty Caradonna, co-owner of PROSHRED Security of Arizona, in a press release.

For information, call the Glendale Police Department Community Action Team at 623-930-3380 or ProShred Security of Arizona at 480-427-2733.

For information on ProShred Security of Arizona, their upcoming shred events, or to schedule a shredding appointment, visit ProShred Security of Arizona.
