Phoenix Children's Hospital plans Glendale open house

The new Phoenix Children’s Hospital - Arrowhead Campus will play host to a community open house from 8 a.m. to noon. Saturday, July 27 at 19007 N. 67 ^th Ave., Glendale.

This event is open to the public.  Attendees will receive a sneak peek inside the 3-story, 175,000 square foot hospital.

Designed with children and families in mind, Phoenix Children’s Hospital — Arrowhead Campus will bring pediatric emergency, imaging, surgical, specialty and inpatient care closer to families in the Northwest Valley.

Attendees can also enjoy:

• Activities for kids, including a scavenger hunt, face painting and photo booth
• Visits with animal-assisted therapy pets
• A stuffed animal hospital
• Educational booths
• Snacks and refreshments
• Giveaways

The Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Arrowhead Campus will have its ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 25. That event is not open to the public.

The hospital, which represents a $195 million investment, will open for patient care in early August.
