The Elle, a 163-unit apartment building in downtown Washington, D.C., that was previously the Peace Corps headquarters, recently celebrated the property’s grand opening. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Muriel Bowser, district leaders, and the building owners from Willco marked the project’s debut as a highly anticipated office-to-residential conversion. Located at 1111 20th St. NW in the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID), the Elle apartments feature 163 apartments that replace the former office building.
