PUBLIC NOTICE OAKDALE RECREATION BOARD MEETING JULY 2, 2024 Call to Order A meeting was held at 225 East 5th Avenue. The meeting was called to order at 5:58 p.m. by Dr. Thomas Davis. Attendees Members in attendance: Dr. Thomas Davis, President, Roy Gordon, Greg Strother, Gwen Alsbury & Rhonda Beard and Guy Arnold via phone. Also in attendance were Mark Pender, Lynn Deville, OHS Principal and Corey Gordon, OHS Baseball Coach. New Business A motion was made to accept the June meeting minutes by Greg Strother and was seconded by Roy Gordon. Motion carried. Financials for the month of June were presented to the Board. A motion was made to accept the financials was made by Roy Gordon and seconded by Greg Strother. Motion carried. Royce Scimemi, CPA, APAC, presented the Audit Report to the board for 2023. Roy Gordon made motion to accept to accept the audit report and was seconded by Gwen Alsbury. Motion carried. Greg Strother made a motion to put the meeting minutes of the board in the Oakdale Journal and was seconded by Roy Gordon. Motion carried. Greg Strother made a motion to recommend Royce Scimemi, CPA, APAC to complete the Audit Report for 2024 and was seconded by Gwen Alsbury. Motion carried. A motion was made to accept the Special Called Meeting Minutes that was held on May 21, 2024, by Roy Gordon and seconded by Greg Strother. Motion Carried. Greg Strother made a motion to enter into a Joint Service Agreement with the City of Oakdale for maintenance on the baseball field and was seconded by Roy Gordon. Motion Carried. Old Business Mark Pender gave an update on the swimming pool. Greg Strother gave an update on the tennis courts. Adjournment Greg Strother made a motion to adjourn and was seconded by Roy Gordon.
