The first go-round of the National High School Finals Rodeo will conclude on Wednesday morning and the 2nd go begins on Wednesday night in Rock Springs. CASPER, Wyo. — Occasional thunderstorms, some potentially strong at times, are possible on Wednesday afternoon in the Casper area. According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Wednesday’s high temperature will reach 87 degrees as chances of thunderstorms rise after noon. Storms could produce short periods of heavy downpours and gusts of up to 60 mph in parts of Natrona County and western Wyoming.
