I've enjoyed getting to know many veterans who call Wyoming home. Many weren't born in the Cowboy State but moved here after retiring from the service. According to reports, 44,403 vets live here, putting Wyoming at #3 with 7,571 veterans per 100,000 people. This state is a good option for vets, with lots of open space, outdoor experiences, veteran organizations, no state income tax, and educational benefits, which are a few reasons a veteran may choose to live here.

Location is everything when it comes to real estate, and Jackson, Wyoming, continues to be one of the most desirable places to live. Last year, the town broke a record when the average single-family home sale price surpassed $5 million. Then, in April of this year, it topped $7 million. It was just $2.6 million in 2019. Additionally, as previously reported, Teton County is the wealthiest county and has the largest income gap in the U.S.

Wyoming Gas Prices Inch Upwards Heading into Busy Travel Season
Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 2.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.31/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 6.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 28.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 2.3 cents in the last week and stands at $3.83 per gallon.
