Let's Go Hot Air Ballooning Over Casper
CASPER — The early morning sun was not yet rising at Mike Cedar Park as Cameron Wagner, Fred Dinkler, Willie Taillon and other aeronauts made ready to take to the sky. At 5 a.m. Friday, it’s finally time for the annual Casper Balloon Roundup, which allows area people a chance to “crew,” or help launch and retrieve, hot-air balloons. For balloonists and a passenger or two, it’s a chance to witness a beautiful sunrise and soar over the Oil City.

More than 1,700 contestants will attend the 2024 National High School Finals Rodeo, throwing their hat in the ring for a chance at a world championship title. National High School Rodeo Association members compete at state levels for local recognition, and the top four contestants in each event qualify for the NHSFR. Town seeks comments on large commercial building regulations this afternoon

Public Help Sought In Finding Missing Cheyenne Runaway
The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing runaway. That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook page. The post describes the missing boy as follows: 16-year-old Gabriel Yetter, 5'10", 175lbs. Last seen wearing blue jeans, cowboy boots, gray/green shirt, and red and black baseball cap. He was last seen in the 3800 block of Polk Ave."
