The Commissioner moved to dismiss appeal on the grounds that decisions of the TRA to issue or not to issue a taxpayer assistance order are final and not appealable to any court, including the tax court, under Minn. Stat. § 270C.37, subd. 6. The Tax Court agreed that the TRA decision was not appealable. Motion granted.

Twins catcher Christian Vazquez showed a ridiculously outside target against Javy Báez and of course it worked
For the money, there isn’t really a worse hitter than Tigers shortstop Javy Báez. He ranks near (or at) the bottom in virtually every hitting metric this season, and his abysmal plate discipline makes for an easy matchup whenever a pitcher gets Báez in a two-strike count.

Twins provide an update on Jose Miranda after he was hit in the head by a pitch
Jose Miranda needed to exist Sunday's game in Detroit after the Minnesota Twins third baseman was struck in the side of the head by a pitch. It happened in the top of the first inning, when an Alex Faedo fastball came high and inside, hitting Miranda in the side of his helmet and sending him to the dirt. Miranda stayed down for a considerable amount of time, with the Twins training staff attending to him, but he was eventually able to get up and walk back to the clubhouse under his own power.
