Family confirms missing man has been found dead in the Red River
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Early Friday morning, a family member of Arthur Wiebe confirmed that his body had been pulled from the Red River. On Wednesday, the Moorhead Police Department pushed out that they needed the public’s help in finding Arthur. Police said that Arthur was last seen in the 4100 block of 34th Ave. S. in Moorhead on July 1st.
Bloomington man in crisis taken into custody after shootout with Richfield police, BCA investigating
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating after Richfield police exchanged gunfire with a man going through a mental health crisis early Friday morning.The shootout happened at a home on the 8700 block of 12th Avenue South in Bloomington, police say.Bloomington police were responding to a separate burglary call, and Richfield police had stepped in to assist the department while the Bloomington officers were investigating the burglary.Richfield officers responded to the suicide threat call and exchanged gunfire with the man in crisis shortly after arriving at the scene, according to Bloomington Police Chief Kim Clauson.Bloomington's crisis negotiators spoke with the man on the phone, and he came out of the residence around 4 a.m. He was taken into custody.---If you or someone you know is in emotional distress, get help from the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. Three hurt in crash near Glenwood
(Glenwood MN-) Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash north of Glenwood last night. The state patrol says it was reported at 8:36 p.m. on Highway 29, about 3 miles north of Glenwood, near 140th Street. A car and an SUV were both southbound on 29 when they collided. The car driver, 23-year-old Alana Bain of Glenwood and passenger 20-year-old Kaila Rodeberg of Alexandria were both taken to the Glenwood Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV, 51-year-old Wendy Brown of Renton Washington and one passenger were not hurt, but passenger 50-year-old Jami Binder of Havre Montana was taken to the Glenwood Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Statewide Missing Persons Alert For Missing Minnesota Teen
Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide missing person alert was issued today by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for a young man who was last seen on Monday. The BCA issued the alert on behalf of the Moorhead Police Department, which has been actively searching for 19-year-old Arthur Wiebe. He was last seen Monday night walking away from his family's shop in Moorhead.
