Two Charged in South Dayton Drug Raid
A recent drug raid in the Village of South Dayton resulted in the arrest of two Erie County men. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office reports that the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 15 2nd Avenue last Thursday, August 22nd at about 3:00 PM. Investigators took 40-year-old Jeffrey Nesbitt of Buffalo and 48-year-old Phillip Duval of Collins into custody after they discovered quantities of crack cocaine, fentanyl and cash. Nesbitt was charged with two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, while Duval faces one count of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Nesbitt was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $5,000 bail, and Duval was released with an appearance ticket.
