Ayo Edebiri has taken on a her latest creative venture by appearing in Tyler, the Creator’s latest music video for the track “Noid.” This video is part of the roll out for his highly anticipated album CHROMAKOPIA . Watch the video and read more about the upcoming project inside.

Tyler continues to push boundaries with his signature blend of bold colors, striking imagery, and offbeat storytelling. His upcoming project CHROMAKOPIA promises to build on this creative evolution. Fans of both Tyler and Ayo are excited about their collaboration.

Edebiri makes her first foray into music videos. Her presence in the video showcases her expanding artistic range beyond acting, making a bold statement in Tyler’s vivid and unique visual world. In the video she appears in a series of sepia images as Tyler recites the words, “I can feel it in my aura. Living between cameras and recorders. I want peace but can’t afford ya.”

Ayo runs towards the star hysterically as if she’s a fan of his. The video snaps between her flinging a gun around towards the camera, which is set as Tyler’s point of view. Then, the camera appears closer to her as she snaps photos with a phone and eventually tries to kiss the camera.

CHROMAKOPIA is set to drop just before Halloween and it’s expected to be one of Tyler’s most talked-about releases yet. His ability to shift between musical genres and explore new narratives has always captivated audiences, and this project looks like it will be no different.

“Noid” is his first release from the project and it samples “Nizakupanga Ngzo” by Zambian band Ngozi Family from their 1977 album 45,000 Volts . The vocal sample features lead singer Paul Ngozi singing in his native Nyanja language about being respectful when visiting his home.

The video for the track already has over 4.8 million video since its release yesterday Oct. 21. With this unexpected collaboration, October 28th is set to deliver something special. Stay tuned for the full CHROMAKOPIA experience—it’s definitely not one to miss.
