Off-duty police officer charged with critically injuring bicyclist in hit-and-run, cops say
An off-duty Gloucester Township police officer who authorities say critically injured a bicyclist in a hit-and-run last month is now facing criminal charges. Christopher W. Bucceroni, 28, of West Deptford was charged Tuesday with knowingly leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily injury, a third-degree crime, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

N.J. town sued for alleged discrimination against home for recovering addicts, alcoholics
A Gloucester County zoning board is being sued for discriminating against recovering addicts by blocking a recovery home from operating in a residential neighborhood. The five-bedroom home, located in Washington Township and run by the organization Rising Sun Recovery, opened last year to help men recover from addiction and alcoholism, according to a lawsuit filed in New Jersey federal court last month.
