On July 13 around 1:23 a.m., state police responded to a home in Perth following a report of an active armed burglary. The investigation revealed that O’Neal allegedly came to the house uninvited, forced entry by breaking a window, and once inside, hit a victim repeatedly with multiple objects.

Troopers arriving at the scene located O’Neal in the residence’s driveway and arrested him. He was charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
