In Less Than a Year, You’ll Regret Not Having Bought These 5 European Cars

In the market for a European car ? You’re not alone. European cars are highly sought after by car enthusiasts due to their high-quality engineering, sophisticated design, and impressive performance. And, honestly, who doesn’t want to feel like 007?
What’s more, Adam Olalde, CEO of Xtreme Xperience , wrote, “We’re actually at an inflection point in the automotive industry where everything is going hybrid and electric. After this year, a lot of European cars will be transitioning to electric meaning the current models will hold their value or appreciate because they will no longer be made.”
So to save you some high-grade FOMO, GoBankingRates spoke with the owner of German Car Depot , Alan Gelfand, automotive expert at carVertical , Evaldas Zabitis, and auto expert with JustAnswer , Chris Pyle, to find out which European cars you’ll regret not having bought in a year.
If you’re in the market for a stylish, timeless design that comes with advanced technological features, look no further. The 911 “offers impressive fuel efficiency for a [rear-engine] sports car and is noted for its reliability, with infrequent repair needs,” stated Gelfand. “The 911’s strong resale value and the prestige of the Porsche brand make it a car that enthusiasts might regret not buying sooner.”
2023 Audi TT
“The TT is very light, handles like a proper sports car, and the design of the last generation model fits anyone,” stated Zapitis. And if you’re looking to stand out, the 2023 Audi TT is one of the most easily recognizable cars on the road. Formerly a staple of Audi’s lineup, the TT was discontinued in 2023. But “you can still find new examples in dealerships, which may be your last chance to buy a brand-new Audi TT.”
Volkswagen Golf GTE
“The Volkswagen Golf is known for its reliability and solid build quality,” stated Gelfand. Not only is it one of the brand’s most dependable and durable models, but it also offers buyers several engine options, trim levels, and accessories. “The Golf’s strong brand reputation, combined with relatively low maintenance costs and excellent safety ratings, makes it a smart investment.”
Zapitis projected that the C63 AMG would skyrocket in value at any moment. “It’s an astonishing beast powered by a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 that boasts 451 horsepower,” he stated. It manages to be luxurious while sounding fantastic and handling like a sports car. It’s one of the last Mercedes-Benz cars equipped with a natural aspirated V8 engine, and you can still find them for under $15,000.”
Jaguar F-type
Pyle recommends that the F-type for Jaguar’s final internal-combustion sports car be manufactured. “They are functional as an everyday driver but pack in some high performance, and they look pretty great,” stated Pyle. “They also retain value pretty well.” With its sleek design and dark windows, you may feel like you belong in The Fast and the Furious each time you get behind the wheel.
