7 Best New Sam’s Club Grocery Items That Are Worth Every Penny

Take a peek at some of Sam’s Club’s latest grocery arrivals and you’ll find more than 200 new items for sale across departments from frozen food to snacks.
Since most grocery shoppers have budgets that dictate what they can buy, new arrivals included, GOBankingRates scoured the new groceries to find out which are the best buys. Some of our picks included name brands that would cost shoppers a lot more money to buy at another supermarket chain and affordable, highly reviewed offerings from the in-house Member’s Mark brand. Best of all, everything mentioned in this roundup is priced at under $15 per item.
MiLa pork soup dumplings may be new at Sam’s Club, but they’re already making a strong first impression. Currently, there are more than 3,000 five-star reviews on the website from satisfied customers.
At $13.34 for a 31-count bag, the price is also highly competitive. Target, which also carries MiLa dumplings , prices its 10-count bags regularly at $7.99. To get to 30 dumplings, Target shoppers would have to buy three bags for a total of $23.97. That’s a little over $10 more than what you’d pay for at Sam’s Club with slightly fewer dumplings.
Another new crowd-pleasing arrival is Member’s Mark honey vanilla nut and fruit clusters. The crunchy clusters, which combine cashews, almonds, pepitas, sweetened dried cranberries and chia seeds, have received more than 1,200 five-star reviews.
Reviewers have praised the taste and the great value for the price with several reviews emphasizing going back to buy more. One reviewer, Kellie, said they had already ordered two more bags.
Regular GOBankingRates readers have probably seen the new bubly sparkling water variety pack at Sam’s Club receiving mentions in our shopping roundups for being a great deal. That’s not likely to stop anytime soon, either.
Compared to BJ’s Wholesale Club — which also sells a 24-pack of bubly sparkling water for $13.49 — Sam’s Club is the reigning champ for cheap bubly as their variety pack costs less than $10.
It’s cheaper to buy a new 62-ounce box of Life cereal from Sam’s Club than it would be to shop for a smaller box at a grocery store or big-box retailer.
Walmart’s 32.5-ounce boxes of Life cereal are mega size and cost $5.98 each. Shoppers would have to buy two mega-size boxes of Life at Walmart to surpass the Sam’s Club size, but they’d also have to spend several extra dollars on these purchases.
Skim the reviews for the new Member’s Mark fruit twist variety pack and you’ll find satisfied shoppers highlighting their taste and competitive price point. With a mix of 24 flavors in every box, Sam’s Club members only wind up paying about 37 cents per fruit twist snack.
Ahead of fall and football season, Sam’s Club shoppers are probably eyeballing the limited-time Manwich sloppy joe sauce six-pack. Is it worth buying at Sam’s Club?
The answer, not surprisingly, is yes. Members only pay about $1.16 per can in this six-pack. This is much cheaper compared to retailers like Walmart, which price their Manwich sloppy joe sauce at $1.42 for each standalone can.
Can you get a better deal on a trio of DiGiorno pepperoni pizzas at Sam’s Club or at Target? We did the math and found out it will cost you $5.79 to buy a single DiGiorno classic crust pepperoni pizza at Target. Shoppers that want three pizzas would have to spend $17.37, or $5.40 more, than what they’d spend at Sam’s Club.
