Colorado man sentenced to prison in Grand Island kidnapping case
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Colorado man arrested in a Grand Island kidnapping case was sentenced to prison in Nebraska. Julius Sandrock, 44, Broomfield, Colo., was sentenced to three years for false imprisonment, one year for third degree assault and three years for terroristic threats. The sentences will be served concurrently, or at the same time.

Hit & run investigated in I-25 crash north of Denver
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 25 that involved four vehicles. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. Thursday at I-25 near 58th Avenue.State troopers said there is no description of the vehicle that left the scene. Four vehicles stayed at the crash site. One person was rushed to the hospital. The extent of the injuries is unknown. At one point, five lanes were closed during the crash investigation and cleanup. All lanes reopened about an hour later.

Police Arrest Suspect in Denver Homicide
Las Cruces police arrested a shoplifting suspect Tuesday who had an active warrant for murder out of Colorado. Oscar Martinez, 48, from Denver, Colo., was arrested by Las Cruces police shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, near the intersection of Roadrunner Parkway and Foothills Road. Police were looking for a man matching his description who was suspected of shoplifting from a nearby Walgreen’s store.
