Carl's Jr. Introduces Fried Zucchini Star for National Zucchini Day for Just $4

In celebration of National Zucchini Day, Carl's Jr. has launched a new vegetarian option, the Fried Zucchini Star. This new entrée features the chain’s popular fried zucchini side dish paired with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, sliced onion, dill pickles, mayonnaise, and a special sauce, all served on a seeded bun.

The Fried Zucchini Star is available at a special price of $4 for My Rewards loyalty program members from August 8-11 through the Carl’s Jr. app. After the promotional period, the item will be priced at around $5.79 and will remain on the menu indefinitely as an off-menu "secret item," available only upon request in restaurants.

Carl’s Jr., a subsidiary of CKE Restaurants based in Franklin, Tennessee, chose National Zucchini Day on August 8 to debut the new menu item, giving veggie lovers a tasty new option to enjoy.
