A recent poll conducted by UC Irvine researchers found that more than a third of Orange County residents are actively considering moving.

The study also revealed that over half of the respondents were classified as "potential leavers," with the high costs of housing, food, and gas being the primary factors driving people to think about leaving the area.

The poll highlighted that certain demographic groups were more likely to consider relocating.

Women, residents under 40, nonwhite individuals, and those without a college degree were the most inclined to think about moving. This data underscores the challenges faced by many in Orange County as the rising cost of living continues to impact residents' decisions about where to live.
