The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Fresno division recently took to social media to share a playful yet important reminder with the public after successfully recovering three lost phones in Shaver Lake. The post humorously suggested that if finding lost phones were an Olympic sport, the officers at the Shaver Lake Resident Post would be on the podium, having excelled in locating the devices since the summer season began.

In their lighthearted message, CHP Fresno advised against leaving valuable items like phones or purses on the outside of vehicles—a habit that can easily lead to misplaced belongings. The post even poked fun at the officers themselves, admitting that they, too, have occasionally left items like flashlights, ticket books, laptops, or portable breath machines on their vehicles.
