Three vivacious California towns named some of the best spots in America for al fresco dining

Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea, along with Downtown Napa and State Street in Santa Barbara, have been recognized as some of the best spots for alfresco dining in 2024.

A survey by DatingAdvice.com of 3,000 food enthusiasts ranked these California locations among the top 150 most romantic outdoor dining spots in America.

Ocean Avenue, known for its breathtaking Pacific views and seafood offerings, earned the 4th spot. Downtown Napa, nestled in the heart of wine country, was ranked 42nd, while Santa Barbara's charming State Street came in at 43rd.

These locations offer diners a perfect blend of scenic beauty and culinary excellence, making them ideal for romantic meals under the open sky.
