Trattoria da Sofia, a new Italian restaurant that promises to bring the vibrant flavors and charm of a classic Sicilian villa to the Kensington neighborhood of San Diego, is set to host its grand opening dinner party on August 15th. The event will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. PT at their location on 4055 Adams Avenue.

The restaurant, co-owned by Andrea Carbonaro, is designed to be a warm and welcoming space where every meal feels like a festive occasion. "Our upbringing in close-knit, family-oriented cultures inspires us to host our guests with the same warmth and love that 'mamma' showed us," said Carbonaro. The menu, which celebrates quality and flavor, features daily-made fresh pastas, local seafood, and shareable plates, all crafted with the finest imported Italian ingredients.

Trattoria da Sofia offers a 4,000-square-foot space that includes cozy indoor seating, an open-air patio, and a private dining room for special occasions. Signature dishes like "Sofia's Favorites" and tableside whipped-to-order tiramisu are among the highlights of the menu.

The grand opening celebration will be a lively affair, with local dignitaries and celebrities in attendance.
