Shake Shack, the popular burger chain founded by Danny Meyer, is set to unveil its first drive-thru location in Southern California this week. The new drive-thru will open on Thursday, August 15, at 1875 West 190th Street in Torrance.

This drive-thru marks Shake Shack's 36th nationwide and its 49th outlet in California. The move is a nod to Southern California's deep-rooted drive-thru culture, offering a convenient option for fans of the chain’s classic menu, which includes burgers, milkshakes, and crinkle-cut fries.

The Torrance location is built from the ground up, reflecting Shake Shack’s commitment to expanding its reach while staying true to its roots, which began with a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in 2001.
